Message:	: I had this same problem with : my 83 mustang convertible. : It was working fine for a few : days and i also heard the : clicking noise as you hear. : I checked the tubes(there are : 4) and one of them had : snaped. This might be your : problem, check the tubes. : You might want to check if : you see any Transmition fluid : on the ground or if you might : be able to smell some. If : the same thing that happend : to mine happend to yours it : would have leaked the fluid : it uses to put the top up and : down.
