She is currently a 289 in a 6 cylinder chassis. which is fine but i need to upgrade a lot of things. First i want to remove the intake and paint it. I'm gonna buy the high temp 300 degree resistant paint but i have a couple of questions. After i get the intake sand blasted do i have to primer before applying this or is it adhesive to metal because its an engine paint and also do i put a coat of clear on after i put the high temp paint. any help and knowledge would be much appreciated on this as well as painting other engine parts.
